About The Course:
The Highfields Level 3 Certificate In Understanding Mental Health In The Workplace For Managers is designed for the manager whose role is to lead, mentor and support an employee. As a result, the employee will proactively engage in their employment, contributing to the growth of the organisation and working in a way that supports the individuals own growth, as well as the organisation's objectives and values.
The management role involves supporting employees who may present with mental ill-health in the workplace. This qualification provides an understanding of the basic principles relating to supporting mental health in the workplace and promoting a positive, 'wellness at work' culture.
The qualification can be taken by learners preparing to enter employment or by those who are already in employment.
Topics Covered:
This is a knowledge only qualification that provides underpinning knowledge and understanding in relation to:
- The principles of mental health
- Recognising mental ill-health in yourself and others
- Supporting mental wellbeing in the workplace
- Understanding how to engage in mental health conversions in the workplace
- How to support employees in relation to their mental health and ways to manage their wellbeing
Course Details:
The course cost is £252 per person. The course is run over 2 days and will be held at our training facility in Milton Keynes with the opportunity for practical/outside training in our farmland surroundings.
This qualification is assessed by 2 multiple-choice examinations and will be valid for 3 years. Each delegate will receive a Highfield certificate of competence.
