Highfield Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF)

About The Course:
King Cobra Training is fully approved to deliver the Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF) designed by Highfield. It is aimed at those who plan to become a first aider in the workplace, regardless of their industry.
If your workplace has been assessed and it has been concluded that you require a first aider, then this course will train team members to the sufficient level needed to meet assessment criteria. The content taught within this qualification also meets Health and Safety Executive (HSE) requirements.
We also offer this First Aid course as part of other training programmes for individuals who wish to enter the security industry as a door supervisor, close protection officer, etc. Please speak to our team for more information on our combined courses.
Topics Covered:
During your training, you will be taught the skills necessary to become confident in the implementation of first aid in the workplace. Many topics are covered, including the following:
- The roles and responsibilities of a first aider
- Assessing an incident
- Recognising the signs of an injury or illness
- Essential first aid skills, such as:
- Performing CPR
- Using an AED (Automated External Defibrillator)
- Dealing with a major injury or illness (i.e. anaphylaxis, chest injuries)
Course Details:
This course is completed at our modern training facility in Milton Keynes, which is able to accommodate class sizes of 5 to 12. The prices are as follows:
- One day course - £130.00 per person
- Three day course - £340.00 per person
On completion of the course, individuals will be approved as a first aider for 3 years. After the 3 year mark, it will be necessary for learners to retake their course to update their knowledge.
