Highfield Level 2 Award in Health and Safety within the Workplace (RQF)
The Health and Safety within the Workplace course by Highfield has been designed to provide individuals with an understanding of basic health and safety practices that are essential in any workplace.
About The Course:
Whether it may be the public sector, retail or manufacturing, for example, all industries require individuals who are well-versed in health and safety. For this reason, this qualification is aimed at employees of all levels, allowing them to gain knowledge on how to carry out health and safety procedures and minimise the likelihood of accidents. From here, they will then be able to contribute effectively to your organisation's health and safety management. This course is also ideal for those who would like to progress to a higher level of training afterwards or support a new role within the business.
Topics Covered:
During this health and safety course, many different topics will be covered; these include the following:
- Understanding the responsibilities of both employers and employees
- How good health can be beneficial to the workplace
- The process of carrying out a risk assessment
- Common causes of accidents, near misses and ill-health, how they should be recorded and how they can be reduced
- Carrying out emergency procedures
Course Details:
This course is £70 per person for half a day or £90 per person for a full day. We are able to accommodate a class size from 5 to 12, making it ideal for those who want to train several staff members during the same session.
Learners will be assessed through a multiple-choice examination.
