About The Course:
The Highfields Level 3 Certificate In First Response Emergency Care is designed for those seeking a career in the emergency service, ambulance services in the event medical sector or those who work in high-risk workplaces. It is also fully recognised by the Security Industry Authority (SIA).
Successful learners will gain the knowledge, skills and competencies needed to deal with a wide range of pre-hospital care emergencies, such as:
- Managing a patient's airways
- Catastrophic bleeding
- Management of fractures
- Medical emergencies
Topics Covered:
The course will consist of the following 3 units:
- Unit 1 - First Response Emergency Care
- Unit 2 - First Response Emergency Care of Trauma
- Unit 3 - First Response Emergency Care of Medical Conditions
Course Details:
The course cost is only £400+VAT per person to £2,500+VAT for a group of up to 6 delegates. The duration is 4 days and will be held at our training facility in Milton Keynes with the opportunity for practical/outside training in our farmland surroundings.
The assessment is via a series of practical assessments and multiple choice question paper. Once awarded, the qualification is valid for 3 years.
