About The Course:
The Highfield Level 2 Certificate In Basic Life Support And Safe Use Of An Automated External Defibrillator is designed for those who operate on a site where a defibrillator is present as training for the use of this treatment is recommended. This course is also fully recognised by the Security Industry Authority (SIA).
We offer a comprehensive Automated External Defibrillator (AED) programme based on the necessary theory, backed by lots of practical sessions. The course is made as informative yet enjoyable as possible, ensuring that students can gain confidence in what can be a daunting new skill.

The course will consist of the following:
- Basic life support
- AED intro and theory
- AED demonstration
- Practical AED workshop
- AED and BLS workshop
Course Details:
The course cost is £110 per person. It is run over half a day and will be held at our training facility in Milton Keynes. Due to our farmland surroundings, there will be the opportunity to participate in practical and outside training.
The assessment is completed through a series of practical evaluations followed by multiple-choice question papers. All training conforms to current Resuscitation Council (UK) guidelines, and each delegate will receive a Highfield training certificate of competence.
This qualification will be valid for 3 years.
